Volume Four - Paris

Over the years I have had the distinct pleasure of visiting Paris many times for work. I have always enjoyed exploring the city. Whenever I visit, I always stay in the same area; in fact, I stay in the same hotel in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, near the Latin Quarter. In this area on the weekends, the streets close to cars and the sidewalks become full seating for restaurants and vendors take to the streets, selling cheese, meats, and fresh vegetables. On Monday morning, the streets reopen, and it is back to the regular hustle and bustle of the city. I have always enjoyed visiting places that undergo that kind of transformation. The images in this issue are from a trip I took in 2015 and are within about a mile of my usual hotel in Paris. The photographs include narrow streets, the River Seine, and the iconic Notre Dame. I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse of Paris.

Each photograph was taken on a Fujifilm TX-1 panoramic camera (Fuji version of the Hasselblad Xpan).
